Expressive Arts for Health

Fore Street Library, 109-111 Fore Street, Edmonton, N18 2XF

Thursdays, 10:30am - 12:30pm 16 April - 18 June 2026 · Free

A free ten-week programme using drawing and watercolour painting to support emotional wellbeing and connection.

Open to adults in Edmonton experiencing isolation, anxiety, or low mood - no artistic experience needed. Running every Thursday morning from April to June 2026, the programme brought together a small group of adults from across Edmonton and was delivered in partnership with Enfield's Mental Health Enablement Service and ConnectWell.

The programme concluded in June with a celebration event and exhibition at Fore Street Library. The exhibition proved so popular that the library invited us to extend it for a further two months - a wonderful endorsement from our community partners.

Funded by Meridian Water Community Chest Fund in partnership with
Enfield Council.

Refer someone

We welcome referrals from GPs, social prescribing link workers, and community organisations. The programme is evidence-informed and outcome-tracked using the Warwick–Edinburgh Mental Wellbeing Scale (WEMWBS).

Suitable for adults experiencing: mild to moderate anxiety, depression, or social isolation who are ready to engage in weekly group activity.

Not a clinical service. Not suitable for those in acute crisis or requiring one-to-one therapeutic support.
